The Last of Us: Jeffrey Wright Joins Season 2 as Isaac
The Last of Us fans, rejoice! Jeffrey Wright, known for his roles in Westworld and Boardwalk Empire, is joining the cast of Season 2 as Isaac, a character he originally played in The Last of Us Part II video game. This is a huge deal for fans of the game, as Wright’s character is a significant figure in the Washington Liberation Front (WLF), also known as the “Wolves.”
The Last of Us
In the game, Isaac is the leader of the WLF, a militia group that seeks liberty but becomes embroiled in an endless war against a surprisingly resourceful enemy. Wright’s character description in the show states that Isaac is “the quietly powerful leader of a large militia group who sought liberty but instead has become mired in an endless war against a surprisingly resourceful enemy.”

The Season 2 cast is shaping up to be an impressive one, with Kaitlyn Dever (Dopesick), Young Mazino (BEEF), Isabela Merced (100 Things to Do Before High School), Danny Ramirez (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Ariela Barer (Runaways), Tati Gabrielle (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Spencer Lord (Heartland), and Catherine O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek) joining the cast alongside returning stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.
