Emilia Clarke, the talented actress behind Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones, is set to star in a new crime drama series, Criminal. Based on the Ed Brubaker graphic novel of the same name, the show follows a group of self-contained stories focused on different characters, all of whom have grown up in the fictional Center City and frequent the same bar.

Clarke will join a star-studded cast, including Charlie Hunnam, Richard Jenkins, John Hawkes, Adria Arjona, Logan Browning, Kadeem Hardison, Pat Healy, Taylor Sele, Gus Halper, Aliyah Camacho, Michael Mando, Marvin Jones III, Michael Xavier, and Dominic Burgess.

But Clarke’s new role isn’t the only dramatic news making headlines. Jude Bellingham, the talented English footballer, found himself in a heated controversy with referee Felix Zwayer during a match between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. Bellingham questioned Zwayer’s integrity, saying, “You give a referee that’s match-fixed before the biggest game in Germany… what do you expect?”

The incident sparked a heated debate about Zwayer’s history in the Hoyzer case, where he accepted money from Robert Hoyzer, a referee later banned for life for match-fixing. Zwayer was cleared of any wrongdoing, but the stain on his reputation has never fully washed away.

The same referee is now set to officiate the highly anticipated England vs Netherlands match, where Jude Bellingham will no doubt be keeping a close eye on him.

Meanwhile, in other news, Exploding Kittens, the popular card game, is getting a TV series and mobile game adaptation. Netflix has ordered a nine-episode animated comedy series, following the story of Godcat and Devilcat as they engage in the ultimate fight between good and evil.
