The Boys: The End is Nigh
The wait is almost over, and the fourth season of The Boys is finally here! But, in a surprise move, the show’s creator, Eric Kripke, has announced that the fifth season will be the final one. The news was shared on social media, where Kripke wrote, “#TheBoys Season 4 Premiere Week is a good time to announce: Season 5 will be the Final Season! Always my plan, I just had to be cagey till I got the final OK from Vought. Thrilled to bring the story to a gory, epic, moist climax. Watch Season 4 in 2 DAYS, cause the end has begun!”
A bloody good time awaits
The fifth season, which is set to start filming in mid-November, will consist of eight episodes and will wrap up the story of Butcher vs Homelander. But, don’t worry, the franchise is far from over. Kripke has already hinted at several spin-offs in the works, including one set in Mexico. He also expressed his desire to continue Gen V, which could potentially continue after The Boys ends.
