Fallout TV Series Gets 2024 Release Date on Prime Video
The wait is finally over for fans of the popular video game franchise Fallout. Prime Video has announced the release date for its upcoming post-apocalyptic drama series, adapted from the beloved games. The show will premiere on April 12, 2024, a.k.a. Fallout Day in the video game community.

The news was announced on Monday, accompanied by a teaser styled like one of the Pip-Boys in the game. The series takes place in a future, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, where citizens must live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants, and bandits after nuclear annihilation.

The story begins in Vault 33, a prominent setting in the video games. The Fallout show will also take place in the official canon of the games. Starring Walton Goggins, the series boasts an impressive cast, including Ella Purnell, Kyle MacLachlan, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Aaron Moten.

Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the duo behind Westworld, executive produce via Kilter Films under their Amazon overall deal. Athena Wickham of Kilter Films also executive produces, along with Todd Howard for Bethesda Game Studios and James Altman for Bethesda Softworks. Amazon and Kilter Films produce in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks. Nolan directed the first three episodes of the series.
