Fallout Series Gets New Release Date on Prime Video
The wait is almost over for fans of the retro-futuristic video game franchise, Fallout. Prime Video has announced that the series, adapted from the popular game, will premiere all eight episodes on April 10 at 6 p.m. PT. The special release includes a live global fan premiere of the first episode, where viewers worldwide can choose their faction and interact with other fans via a live chat function.
The highly anticipated series is finally here
As a gamer and a fan of the Fallout franchise, I’m excited to see how the series will bring the post-apocalyptic world to life. The official logline promises a story of haves and have-nots in a world where there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.
The game that started it all
The series boasts an impressive cast, including Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Aaron Moten. With Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the duo behind Westworld, serving as executive producers, I have high hopes for the series. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, co-creators and executive producers, have promised a wild ride, and I’m excited to see what they have in store for us.
The talented cast of Fallout
As we count down the days until the premiere, I’ll be re-playing the game and re-reading the lore to get ready for the series. If you’re as excited as I am, join me in the live global fan premiere on April 10 and let’s experience the world of Fallout together.
